There are two short journals talking about what meaning of advertisements designers want to express.

I will use one of Coca Cola advertisement posts to interpret the transmission view of communication is the commonest in our culture.From this picture,red is the symbolic color about Coca cola.Red is the most popular color in the world.Coca Cola company chooses red to be the main color because red is represent the passion and happiness.Red can stimulate people’s desire and passion. In China, red is the most traditional color , it is represent for peaceful ,propitious and harmony.Coca cola has a big business market range in China, because people choose coco cola to drink , they can feel happiness.I think it a persuasive example to explain viewpoint.In other countries,most of teenagers drink colas not only because they want to drink, another reason is cola is a fashion production.We can see some important events’ sponsor is coca cola,they want to transport they are in style, and they make young people down,If you don’t want to be out of style,please drink coca cola.The slogan of this advertisement is ‘live on the coca cola side of life’.There is a classic style bottle of coca cola,and there are some abstract symbolic in the top of picture,this part of picture want to express when some one who open a cola,it seems to open the happiness in reality. They use these symbolic messages to stimulate and change people’s thoughts,and they want to express some meanings for people, this is transmission.

This is an advertisement about CHANEL,which model is acted by Blake Lively.As e know, she is a famous actress because she plays an important role in an American series “Gossip girls”,she is also a fashion Icon.She always be awarded as the most sexy women in the world. She is very popular, that’ s the reason why Karl Lagerfeld chooses her. The dominant hue of image is cool tone,including a red bag and a logo which market in white.She wears Chanel couture dress while she is looking herself through many mirrors and her perfect facial profile are shown in different angles.In this image, her make up is wonderful ,her eyes are watching different direction,one eye is looking the front, another is watching the mirror,latter is a natural phenomenon.People can feel mystery, confidence and elegant from her eyes. It is the same as brand mission,giving the beauty for every women who are confident and elegant. In this advertisement, she wear a red bag about CHANEL, the collocation of black and red is always classic.It can catch the consumers’ eyes, and make this bag more attractive than reality. Red can make people more excited and stimulate people’s desire. It cause more and more women want buy this bag, they want to be the elegant and mystery as Blake Lively.Finally, the logo “CHANEL” in white is at the bottom .It is easy for consumer to know which brand’s advertisement .The collocation of Black and white has strong effect,causing the visual impact.
